Nehemiah 9:16-25

Loving Divine Family,

We praise you because you love us completely, in spite of our rebellious nature. So often, we would rather remain the same or return to old ways, rather than follow you into the land you have promised. But you never give up on us. Your love is amazing!

God of comfort, you are our ever-present help. We humble ourselves and confess we did not listen to you and did not follow you. You are forgiving, gracious, compassionate, slow to anger, and abounding in love. You did not desert us. You are with us, waiting for us to turn to you. May we follow you in great devotion and walk out what you have for us.

I rest in the promise of your perfect love today, O LORD, and thank you for…

Hedge us in, O LORD, when we scatter from your path and try to return to our old ways and household gods. Keep us anchored within your protective veil. Hem us to you; hold us fast. Let us see your glory and be amazed. We will participate in your great mystery and praise your name forever.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
