Romans 8:1-11

Loving Divine Family,

We seek your face as we enter your sacred prayer space. We see Life-giving Spirit’s breath blowing through the remnants of wild grass, reeds, and shrubs. The remaining leaves are cascading to cover Mother Earth in preparation for colder months. Your warmth remains in golden rays of the sun; your face shines upon us as the seasons turn.

Thank you for this sacred time with you. It brings pleasure to hear and know, that “there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” Thank you, Spirit, who gives life and has set us free from the law of sin and death. Thank you, our minds are shaped by the Spirit who leads to life and peace.

I feel your face shining on me today, Loving LORD, and thank you for…

You embrace the best and worst of us. Your love is perfect and stubborn towards us. We do not understand how you can stay; yet, you continue to welcome us. We will remain in your loving presence and participate in your great mystery for all our days.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!
