Give us wisdom to silence ourselves in your presence, so we will hear your voice and know your purpose. Guide us in your ways, so we will sojourn well upon your Ancient Path and greet each other in a good way.
Give us wisdom to silence ourselves in your presence, so we will hear your voice and know your purpose. Guide us in your ways, so we will sojourn well upon your Ancient Path and greet each other in a good way.
Almighty God, we humble ourselves as we enter your sacred presence. We become aware of our meagre existence. You are the Creator, who gives us life. You are clothed in majesty and power. Thank you, your breath gives us life.
You have called each of us to be your servants and high priests to your communities. We enter your sacred prayer space feeling unworthy by human standards. But your ways are perfect. You receive us and call us your worthy children.
Today, we invite you to reread, rest and reflect on the prayers of the past week.

We desire to be surrounded by your perfect light, love, and peace. In your presence, all we see is good, coming from the fruits of your spirit. We will focus on all that is good, so all sin will disappear from our vision. Let this be our hope as we journey together on your Ancient Path.
In this sacred time with you, we empty ourselves of anger, jealousy, bitterness, evil, and judgemental attitudes. We are your vessels of love. Thank you for filling us with your joy and peace as we trust in you, so that we may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
We enter your sacred prayer space to seek your peaceful assurance. Do we live lives worthy of being carried by the angels to your side when we breathe our final breath? We think of our past, full of self-disappointment, and cry out to you. You draw close; Life-giving Spirit embraces us, pressing her lips to our ears.
Grant us peace, to walk with hope upon your Ancient Path. Grant us endurance, to be tireless and sure-footed. Grant us purpose, to walk with bold assurance that we are living your purpose each day we choose to follow you.
We honour you by singing your praises. Holy, Holy, Holy, is the LORD God Almighty. Who was, and is, and is to come. Salvation comes from you. Thank you for your loving presence and wisdom.
We gather as faithful followers to hear your teachings and learn from you. We enter your sacred prayer space, amazed and concerned about how we can measure up to your expectations, and enter your kingdom. You reassure us that you have already chosen us as your own and that your desire for us is to fall in love with who you created us to be.
