Psalm 124:1-8

Loving Divine Family,

We gather together in an ascent to your sacred prayer space. We sing as we come to you songs of our ancestors throughout the generations. Before we knew you, even when we did not acknowledge you, your blessings and protection showered upon us. We see you smiling towards us as we praise you.

Loving Yahweh, you are our ever-present help. We call you for help, and you deliver and save us time and time again. We are on the edge of life and death, and we are not sure if we can keep going. Praise to you, Creator, who provides for our spiritual, emotional, and physical needs. Thank you for your help that rescues us from the traps so that we can soar like eagles.

I remember your blessings in my life today, Loving LORD, and thank you for…

We will call upon you in times of trouble, trusting in your relentless grace and mercy. We will sing songs of thanksgiving, for your answer is given even before we ask. We will be amazed by your wondrous love, for your prayers are so much greater than ours. You are the truest of true!

With joy we praise you!

Amen!
