Second Week after the Epiphany, Thursday, January 23, 2025
Loving Divine Family,
We stand where once were ruined walls, devastated from the battles with strong adversaries. But you, LORD, are sovereign. You are our comfort in grief. This is your sacred prayer space, where you make all things new.
Thank you, Loving God, for the Spirit-filled people you send to us to bring us good news, heal broken hearts, and who speak freedom and who remind us we are; your Beloved. We join with them, turning our sorrow into joyful songs of praise because you are with us. Thank you for removing our shame and disgrace. We relish in our inheritance and double portions. You fill us to the brim.
I am restored and unbound today, Sovereign LORD, and thank you for…
You lay a crown of beauty on our heads where once were ashes. Life returns to this desolate place. Renew us as well. Make us kings, shepherds, teachers and elders in this land of our sojourn.
With joy we praise you!
Amen!
