John 8:12-19

Loving Divine Family,

As we enter your sacred prayer space, we admit that we are a battleground between our habits and your revelations to us. Your ways are perfect; your teachings are amazing. We want to believe you, but we need to give up our old ideas.

Jehovah Jireh, thank you for this past sacred year. You have guided us with your truth and light through the valleys and mountains. Thank you for providing what we need, when we need it. Thank you, Jesus, for being a light, witnessing to us God’s love for us. We leave behind our past regrets, suspicions, doubts, and sins; we place them in your arms, so we see the light and not be lost in the darkness.

I release my old habits to you today, Loving LORD, and thank you for…

Place us in your presence. Surround us with your wise council of Elders and Spiritual Directors. Encourage us to speak favourably about you, and encourage others as we journey together.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
