Deuteronomy 26:5-10

Loving Divine Family,

We enter your sacred prayer space, bringing the firstfruits of the land that you, LORD, gave to our ancestors and to us. You have blessed the journey of all creation, introducing us to this land not to own or possess it, but to live and learn from it.

Thank you, Yahweh, for being faithful to our ancestors. They cried out to you and you provided for them. We also cry out to you to deliver us from our suffering and circumstances. Thank you for being our God who hears us and provides for our needs. In worship, we bring our first and best to you. May it bring you glory and honour.

I listen to the land today, Loving Creator, and thank you for…

You called us to live in reciprocity with the rest of creation. Give us honourable hearts and minds, so we will not boast of our bounty, but rejoice that your lovingkindness has shone upon the landscape and upon us. May our praise be a pleasing offering to you.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
