Third Week of Advent, Wednesday, December 18, 2024
Loving Divine Family,
We enter your sacred prayer space, joyfully playing our instruments, dancing, and singing. We focus on the music and songs, but also admit that sometimes we lose sight of you. We sometimes worship our acts of devotion instead of worshipping you. In those times, we only worship the thought of you.
Loving, faithful God, our minds are full of clutter, filled with perceptions that are misleading us. Our judging thoughts blind us and we miss seeing you and your loving way. Reveal what is blinding us, so we can give the barriers up to you, see you, and be filled with your love and joy.
I return to the heart of worship today, Loving LORD, and thank you for…
Above all, you are directing the planets and stars in their orbits. Above all, you are giving first breaths and bodies to all souls, and taking the last breaths and bodies from them. Above all, you free us from these physical forms so we can fully return to you. Clear the clouds from around us, so we will see you for who you are, and come as we are.
With joy we praise you!
Amen!
