Luke 16:19-31

Loving Divine Family,

We enter your sacred prayer space to seek your peaceful assurance. Do we live lives worthy of being carried by the angels to your side when we breathe our final breath? We think of our past, full of self-disappointment, and cry out to you. You draw close; Life-giving Spirit embraces us, pressing her lips to our ears.

Thank you, God of all creation, for the invitation to look through the lens of love the same way you look upon your creation. You invite us to be people of love and integrity and to help others. We forget that a kind smile, a gentle touch or giving someone food, we are giving to you. Enlighten our hearts and minds, so we will give out of our abundance without judgement. May your grace and love flow to others even when we are moved out of our comfort zones.

I feel your breath in me today, Loving Creator, and thank you for…

As long as we have ears to hear, we will listen to your Elders and Prophets. As long as we have eyes to see, we will meditate on your word. As long as we have breath, we will speak with your kindness and good news to ourselves and others.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
