“Matthew 20:29-34 (The Message)” by Connie Beingessner.

Matthew 20:29-34

Loving Divine Family,

We journey with you along your Ancient Path from Jericho into the countryside. We, who were once blind, cried out to you from the ditches. You compassionately healed us. Now, we follow you and invite others to join us.

LORD, Son of David, have mercy on us. Thank you for your compassion and for answering our prayers. Today, we choose to follow you.

I follow you as a restored person today, Loving LORD, and thank you for…

Keep our eyes open, so we will not lose our sight and return to the ditches. Give us words of encouragement, so we will never speak curses to those who call out to you. Give us hearts of prayer so we will be a blessing to you and others.

With joy we praise you!

Amen!

Cherie and Donovan Mutschler
